WELCOME TO KIDLISH
ABOUT KIDLISH
Kidlish is a place to swap stories about the fun, unfamiliar and challenging times raising kids in a foreign country (or at least, in a place or way very different from your own). It was created by a mother who is trying to navigate the customs, language, education system and social cues of a place far from where she grew up. From fairytales to playground etiquette, classroom rules and holiday traditions, there's plenty to say and even more to learn.

The website was originally created during the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic to help provide parents with easy, interactive English learning activities that can be done inside very small apartments in the middle of a city. It evolved over time to include a blog with entries from parents in many parts of the world (a work in progress), links to fun reading, and seven English lessons for beginners.

Is kidlish a real word? Well, not exactly but it should be! Here's my definition:
KIDLISH: the language of kids. It isn't confined to a single dictionary or a region of the world. It is the product of everything that influences the language of a child including the parents, teachers, coaches, television shows, books, etc.
